I started Bee-Tees when my daughter was two and I needed to find a way to connect with her about fairness and sharing her toys. Spending a couple of minutes with her in the morning talking about her bee on her shirt and about it's meaning gave us an opportunity to communicate and she would remember our conversation when she glanced down at her shirt during the day at school. It was a great way to connect with her on her level about a grown-up issue.
